If you really want to see what DanceSport is all about, you must
attend a DanceSport competition! These events host dancers of all levels: from
beginner-level dancers, who are stepping on each others' toes, to dancers who have reached
the top competitive levels...some of who are still stepping on each others' toes! If
you value excitement, glamour and elegance, you must attend one of the following
DanceSport events.
If you're still not convinced, come to cheer on your favourite
DanceSport couple, Joel & Clara! The more cheers they receive while competing,
the better they dance! Feel free to contact them if you'd like more information
about the following competitions:
August 21-22, 2003: German Open, Manheim, Germany
August 30, 2003: World Championships
Fundraiser, Grand Ballroom, Richmond, BC
This event is a fundraiser for the 3 Canadian
Representatives that train at the Grand Ballroom:
Joel Marasigan & Clara Shih, Jackson Wong & Candy Chan, and George Lindholm &
Debbie Wong. There will be special performances by Jackson & Candy, George &
Debbie, and several other DSBC Championship dancers.
Unfortunately, Joel and Clara will be unable to
attend. They would love to put on a great show for all their supporters back
home. However, they are currently training in England for their World Championships
and are unable to return home at this time.

September 13, 2003: Junckers International Gala, IDSF Grand Slam,
Aarhus, Denmark
October 4, 2003: The London Open
Championships, Brentwood, England
October 5, 2003: Imperial Championships, Frimley Green, England
October 8-9, 2003: The International Championships, London, England
November 15, 2003: The IDSF World Amateur Championships, Vienna, Austria
